Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance

Nickel Institute

Meeting global sustainability and regulatory challenges

Nickel-containing materials contribute to sustainability through their performance, durability and recyclability. At the same time, their health effects and environmental impacts have to be measured, understood and managed. The Nickel Institute welcomes all appropriate regulation that is based on sound science. The Institute actively participates in risk assessment and risk management activities globally to provide a basis for appropriate regulations contributing to the safe and sustainable use of nickel.

These pages provide information on the challenges, issues and initiatives being taken by the Nickel Institute to ensure sustainable use of nickel and contribute to regulatory compliance.
