Elizabeth Traudt Middleton joins NiPERA as Environmental Toxicologist

Dr. Elizabeth (Ellie) Traudt Middleton has joined NiPERA Inc., the Nickel Institute’s science division, to take on the role of Environmental Toxicologist.

Ellie has a PhD in Geochemistry from the Colorado School of Mines where she conducted research into nickel toxicity in aquatic environments. She joins NiPERA from Jacobs Engineering Group where she has worked in the Ecological Risk team on projects on behalf of both governmental bodies and private sector industries, gaining expertise in U.S. EPA environmental regulations.

Dr Adriana Oller, Executive Director, NiPERA said, “We are delighted to welcome Ellie to NiPERA. Her solid academic background which includes highly relevant bioavailability modeling, study design, and data interpretation as well as her experience in the private sector will be a great asset to NiPERA’s environmental toxicology team.”
